The Ekman bottom corer is based on the Ekman design. The sediment sampler is made of AISI 316 stainless steel.
To be deployed by means of a cord, recommended diameter 5 mm. Comes with a drop messenger for closing the grab.
By adding the pole (Image -2 & 3 (length 2 + 2 m)) the grab can be inserted manually into the sediment and closed by pulling the line.

Loading tool for Ekman (Image 4):
The tool comes with a small locking bracket to avoid injury because of an unattended release during the loading.
