Lids:
The Day Grab comes with 4 lids; opening the lids allows to take out one or more undisturbed sample to have a look at the stratification of the sediment without releasing the whole sample.

Norwegian ISO standard:
The grab fulfills the Norwegian ISO standard which requires lids with rubber flaps and stainless steel mesh (500 µm) and rubber mats to reduce the shock wave. (16665 Water quality - Guidelines for quantitative sampling and sample processing for of marine soft-bottom macro fauna).

Extra lead weights (Image 3):
The frame supports up to 48 lead weights, each 5 kg.
Standard delivery comes with 4 pcs lead weights.

Emptying or loading the Day Grab (Image 4):
Rack with protection grating. Heavy-duty design so you can empty or load Van Veen, Ekman and other grabs. `
