Air Quality Meter / Air Quality Monitor PCE-RCM 12 Determination of CO2, HCHO, fine dust (PM2.5 / PM10)
Air quality monitor for orienting measurement of environmental conditions /
determination of CO2, HCHO, fine dust (PM2,5 / PM10) /
temperature and relative humidity / 3 "TFT LCD display
The air quality monitor from PCE Instruments is a true all-rounder when it goes about the quality of the indoor air. The air quality monitor quickly and accurately determines several environmental parameters that are of enormous importance for well-being and concentration. The air quality monitor enables an effective and uncomplicated measurement of CO2, fine dust, temperature, formaldehyde and relative humidity.
In order to control the air quality in the closed rooms under control, the producer has equipped the air quality monitor with the color rating scale. This scale serves as an indicator and simplifies the user's orientation: as soon as a limit value is exceeded, this is shown in color on the display. In addition, if desired, in case of a potential danger, the air quality monitor also makes an acoustic signal. This function is useful, for example, when measuring the pollutant substances in the indoor air. The air quality monitor, for example, makes it possible to effectively detect the fine dust load. Here, a distinction is made between fine dust particles with a maximum diameter of up to 10 μm (PM10) and fine dust particles with a diameter of up to 2.5 μm (PM2.5). In addition, the air quality monitor precisely indicates the formaldehyde concentration in the room air. For measuring carbon dioxide, the meter has a wide measuring range from 0 to 9,999 ppm. The manufacturer has also equipped the air quality monitor with a large memory for 5000 measuring groups as well as a practical date and time display. In addition, the air quality monitor provides reliable information about the temperature (-20 ° C ... +70 ° C) and humidity (0 ... 100% RH).
The easy-to-read display of the air quality monitor shows the measured values alternately. The user also has the opportunity to use the device for a while completely self-sufficient, without any connection to a power source. After five hours of continuous operation, the air quality meter will need some energy. It takes two hours for the battery of the device to be fully charged again. In order to provide a continuous measurement of the environmental conditions, the manufacturer has equipped the air quality meter with a USB port. In this way, the user can connect the meter with a power source.
Good indoor climate is important as it has a significant impact on the ability to concentrate, performance, overall well-being and health. In particular, the fact that the indoor air is often much more polluted than the outside air is increasingly putting the monitoring of the indoor air quality into focus.
The air quality monitor is an ideal tool to determine the important parameters related to the air quality. The air quality monitor from PCE Instruments is compact and flexible in use, and therefore, ideal for monitoring the air quality in a variety of indoor areas, in both, professional and private environments. Its diverse functions, combined with the ability to capture multiple environmental parameters, make the environmental meter an ideal device for factories, workplaces, schools or day care centres. Also, in a private sector, the air quality monitor is preferred because of its easy handling and appealing design.
