Air Quality Meter / Air Quality Gauge PCE-RCM 15 For indoor air quality measurement
Air quality gauge for indoor air quality measurement / Measures 7 air quality parameters at the same time / built-in alarm function
Air quality always under control: the PCE Instruments Air Quality Gauge has been specifically designed to monitor the quality of the indoor air. The air quality measuring device simultaneously determines seven environmental parameters, particularly important for your health and well-being, quickly and accurately. The air quality measuring device enables the efficient and simple measurement of volatile organic compounds (TVOC), fine dust (PM1, PM2.5 and PM10), temperature, formaldehyde as well as relative humidity. The large display of the air quality gauge displays all measured values and also has a date and time display.
The room air contaminated by fine dust, formaldehyde or volatile organic substances can cause severe damage to health and well-being. Increased pollutant concentration in the air can lead to headaches, fatigue, respiratory irritation and other health problems. Therefore, you should always pay attention to the quality of the indoor air. This is particularly easy with the help of the large color display of the air quality gauge from PCE Instruments.
The air quality gauge offers, for example, the possibility to effectively determine the fine dust load. During the fine dust measurement, the air quality gauge makes a distinction between fine dust (PM10), fine dust (PM2,5) and ultrafine dust (PM1) possible. The measuring range of the air quality gauge in this category is 0 to 999 μg / m³.
In case of the PM1 fine dust it goes about ultrafine particles with an aerodynamic diameter of less than 0.1 microns. These smallest fine dust particles are considered to be especially harmful because they are the easiest to get into the body through the respiratory tract. The serious indoor dust sources are e.g. copiers, laser printers, candles or cooking activities. The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends not to exceed the limit values of 20 μg / m³ (PM10) or 10 μg / m³ (PM2.5) in the annual average.
In addition to the PM-standard values, the air quality gauge indicates the formaldehyde concentration in the room air. The measuring range is between 0 and 1.999 mg / m³. For the measurement of volatile organic compounds (TVOD), the meter has a measuring range of 0 to 9.999 mg / m³. In addition, the air quality gauge provides a reliable information about the temperature (-10 ° C to +45 ° C) and humidity (20 to 99% RH). The user can choose between three different display modes and use a convenient, built-in alarm function provided in the air quality meter by the manufacturer.
The determined air quality measured values are shown simultaneously on the large color display of the air quality measuring device. The measured values are visualized both graphically and numerically. Thus, the user can get an overview of the quality of the interior air quickly. Thanks to a battery, it is possible to use the air quality gauge completely self-sufficient for a while, without any connection to a power source. In order to ensure a permanent monitoring of the room air, the manufacturer has equipped the air quality measuring device with a USB interface. In this way, the user can connect the meter to a power source.
The air quality measuring device from PCE Instruments is compact and, thus, flexible in use. It is therefore excellently suited to check and regularly control the quality of the room air in different indoor areas in the professional or private sector. Due to its design, the dust measuring device is suitable, for example, for a setting-up on the table or shelf which one always has in view, in order to read the current values. The diverse functions of the dust measuring device and the registering of seven environmental parameters make the air quality measuring device an ideal solution for production sites, workplaces, schools or day-care centers. The air quality measuring device also finds its application in the private sector to regularly monitor the quality of the air, for example in living rooms, kitchens or bedrooms. In this way, it can be permanently guaranteed that indoor well-being is provided at all times.
